I’m Cuddling My Baby, and Babies Don’t Keep
In response to my Secret Sauce post, my Aunt shared with me a poem that someone had shared with her while my cousins were small. It is so worth stealing and sharing, as Mama’s we all need this posted somewhere – at least I do!
I hope my child looks back on today
and remembers a Mom who had time to play
There will be years for cleaning and cooking
But children grow up when we are not looking
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
Cause babies grow fast, we learn to our sorrow
So settle down cobwebs, dust go to sleep
I’m cuddling my baby, and babies don’t keep
Good one huh? It’s something I’m going to keep reminding myself of. Because time is too precious and you just can’t miss moments like these:
The birthday girl (who is not 2 by the way, not sure where that came from. I’m going with “Peace!”)

Turned rock star

My cuddle bug.

Totally procrastination worthy right?

These are the moments we must be not just there for, but present, fully engaged – and who wouldn’t want to be?

We love them when they’re crazy

And they’re cute even when mad

The dishes, dust, and dirty laundry can wait. Being a family is what it’s all about.

Prayse is becoming a little beauty queen! And I can’t believe how fast your little guy is growing! Seems like just yesterday he was still incubating and now … wow! And that grin is adorable!
I like your new blog look!
Your family is just too precious!!!
