In Which I Complain… A Lot.

I just looked at my calendar on my blog and realized that NONE of the days in February where bold. I haven’t written a single thing. What a month it’s been so far. We’ve been busy dealing with bugs, viruses and general sickness. We’ve never been one of those families that is continually sick, until now.

So b/c it’s my blog I’m just going to complain b/c that is how I feel right now. Crappy and complainy, it does no good to complain to men. They just look at you and keep moving on, no hug, no offer to get you 7-up (actually, I did get the hug when I had the flu over SuperBowl weekend… but not so much right now). So you get the pleasure of hearing me complain, if you don’t like it then just move on, its okay.

We need to get well. Between having the flu, Prayse having RSV (THAT was fun let me tell ya, still doing breathing treatments 2x/day… poor babe) and now having what I am 90% sure is a nasty sinus infection we just need some healthy help.

P is still vulnerable b/c RSV takes a few weeks to go away. I usually don’t go to the Dr until whatever I have drives me to bed, I am very near that point but also need to go in so I don’t give this back to Prayse. Especially when everything I’ve read about RSV says that it could be the beginning or the trigger of asthma. Because P also has allergies and eczema, asthma is a very real and scary possibility.

Raymonn is going to be gone this week – Thur through Sunday. The thought of feeling like this and taking care of Miss P alone is also enough to go get some good drugs.

I feel like my teeth are going to fall out, the pressure is that forceful. I’ve made an executive decision to put a few things in neutral to allow myself to get my 7-8 hours of sleep a night. For the past 6 months I’ve been running on 6/night and it’s just not working for me right now.

Gah, what a pity party I am having for myself this morning. Enough of this, I’ll call the Dr when it opens and try to get in, get my medicine and move on!

  1. Poor Momma and poor Miss P. The sickies suck the wind right out of you. I hope you two lovely ladies get better soon! Oh, and If I were closer I’d give you a hug and some 7-up. ; )

  2. I’m sorry, hun. A break is needed. Sounds like a weekend for not coming out of the PJs.

  3. I hope you feel better soon!

  4. Oh I am the worse when it comes to being sick! I complain all the time because I hate it sooo bad. And I know what you mean about the RSV, Shelby Lynn had it this Christmas and it was awful. I wish you all a speedy recovery and hope the sickness stays away the rest of the winter!!! Bring on the warm weather!
