Don’t Give Up On Me!

Not just yet anyway! I am still here. Just living an insane life! So Miss P is feeling much better – thank goodness. She is back to her crazy running while screaming while laughing all at the same time self. I am STILL battling that stinkin sinus infection. I need Ibuprofen to make it through the day – rare for me, very rare. So I’m calling my Dr. again today to get my prescription changed.

There are other aspects of life like work and stuff that are keeping me busy and for the last few days I’ve been sans computer. Prayse I believe took out the power cord and put her tongue on it (I can only deduce when I saw her crying with her tongue hanging out and the power cord in her hand). Anyway once my computer’s battery died out – it doesn’t turn back on, even when plugged in.

Also had a random thing happen w/ my work computer where all of my passwords got changed, even the administrative ones set up by my company. It has my IT guys stumped, so I’ll drop it off today and hope they can fix it too (currently hijacking Raymonn’s computer).

Beyond that – when I have had just a few minutes I’ve been completely ingrained in My Total Money Makeover. It is encouraging and frustrating at the same time – I see people who work extremely hard and pay off an EXTRA $5,000 month in debt. Seriously?? WOW! I am excited for them but then think to myself – good grief, how am I gonna do that? We basically live off of our salaries and my commission. Some months are good when my clients pay, other months we scrape by and live off of the money we set back from the good months. I am working to get our monthly costs down – grocery coupons, planning meals, etc… I also have a good friend who joined TMMO which is awesome, I have someone to talk about it with.

I think that once April hits I am going to have more time for myself/our family. I am going to work on that garage and categorize things that can be put on Craig’s List or eBay. I’ll continue to scrape little things out of our budget (hopefully if I can ever get a handle on that). But at some point we need to make more than the day jobs and put that toward our budget – one bill at a time.

But not today – know why? Because today is PRESIDENT’S DAY!! When I put it in Caps does it seem more important? It apparently is an extremely important day because all of the schools are out here. I don’t believe I ever had this off – it seems so random to me. Anyway, it’s also one of the two days/year that Miss P’s daycare is also closed for staff training. So we are going to have some FUN today! I think we’re going to go to Lost In Fun this morning (YAY!) and this afternoon bake some banana muffins and then at 3:30 she has a follow-up allergist appointment. NOT looking forward to that one. I am just hoping they don’t stick her again. I know she’s still allergic to milk products as she breaks out whenever she eats them and Peanuts? Well we’ll just continue with our peanut-free living and assume okay? Please don’t stick my baby again! Please!!!

Other than that though – it’s gonna be a good day. I can just tell.
