Time For Something New

One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to blog more and blog truer – so I think I need a new look and new layout to reflect this new year and new goal. Which of course means more work for my hubby, but hey, he’s the one that got me started blogging and doesn’t want me to know too much as I will undoubtedly mess it all up. He signed himself up for this.

So here are my thoughts so far as I was rocking Miss P to sleep for a nap today. I really want to make this blog all-inclusive of me. I want to add in Twitter (apparently I have to prove myself to be Twitteriffic enough for R to do this), I want to be more involved in Flickr, YouTube, Facebook, etc… I want this to be my outlet.

A couple of other ideas I have are:

• A Recipes Page with various categories (since I will be cooking 3 x/week now!
• Poll w/ random but run questions that you can answer w/out having to identify yourself if you don’t want (you shy lurkers you)
• Give Aways
• Feedjit?
• Shameless plugs – individuals who are starting their own business, Etsy shops, etc… do something awesome and unique and I want to plug you. I want to help you spread the word! Goodness knows I don’t have the talent for something like that, but I do want to help you make your dream a reality, a success… which leads me to my other blog idea, but I’ll share that later when I get it up and running.

Any other ideas? I’ve also as you may have noticed by the widgets been trying to get more involved in the blogging world, finding new blogs to follow and getting to know more Mamas out there. I’m having a great time doing it!
