Joining The Crowd

I rarely blog about politics. I have my opinions, definitely. But for the most part have refrained from blogging about them. I figure there are much smarter people out there doing it every day, you can learn more from them
But I simply cannot let this day go by without saying SOMETHING. I’m a lifelong Republican, but you can’t help but feel butterflies of excitement in your stomach when you see pictures like this:

There is electricity in the air, anticipation for a historic day. I can’t help but be excited, proud of our country, and pray for the man chosen to lead us. He has a tough job ahead of him. I don’t envy him at all. Not only because of the state of our economy and the two wars we are actively fighting, but the expectations that we has on his head… I don’t believe any other President has had to face the same.

But I trust our country and the leader we have chosen. God Bless and good luck Mr President!
