Dear Santa,

My grandparents get the Grand Island newspaper. They published a whole section of letters to Santa from local 5th graders. They are so cute I had to share a few!

Dear Saint Nick,

I’m not going to be like all the other kids and ask for this and that because I have everything that I need. Also I don’t need something every Christmas! I have a closet full of Christmas presents. So if you would gladly grant my Christmas wish, I would appreciate to have my dog Buddy back! He is black and white with brown spots on his face. Two years ago, he ran away and we could never find him. So as I told you, I don’t need any toys, video games, and digital things, I need my dog back!

Dear Santa,

This year, I think I’ve been a really good kid. I just have a couple of things I hope you can bring me.

First of all, I hope I can geta  cell phone. Because I always have to wait till night time to use our house phone. And I can really use one for emergencies and other similarthings like that… (she also asks for an i-pod)

Oh, and Santa befor you leave my house, I baked some warm, melty chocolate chip cookis. They’re on the table, right next to the milk. So go ahead and help yourself. Oh, and have a holly, jolly Christmas.

Dear Sant Nick- aka Santa Claus,

Every year I ask for something that a kid wouldlike,but this year the thing that I want the most is that I want my family to have the best Christmas ever. Because sometimes most of my family can’t make it. So this year I want my whole family to all get together so we can have a Christmas to remember. Another reason why I want my family to have the best Christmas ever is because some of my relatives like my gradma and grampa can’t come from Mexico because there sick. So please Santa make my dream come true so my family and I can have a real Christmas all together.
