Clear Epic

As Prayse continues to grow I get to know her more and more. Her personality shines.  We have more and more fun every day.  It’s hard to believe that we’re past the half year mark with this beautiful babe. I’ve been trying to keep a list of the new and exciting things that she has learned just in the past month. It’s difficult as there are new conquests each and every day it seems.

Yes, “da da da” might technically be her first word, one that I’m sure Raymonn won’t ever let me forget, but this seven month old is still a Mama’s Girl! We’re bestest of friends and joined at the hip! Here are some other milestones:

• Sitting up! She still tends to topple but not nearly as much.
• Semi/face plant/inch worm crawl. She is getting the crawl though, but once she gets close enough to get what she wants it’s a belly flop and a reach. Too cute.
• Kisses- the big wet sloppy ones! You have to wipe your whole face off when she’s through but they are very much worth it.
• Hugs- great big bear hugs! She will grab you and squeeze your neck with her head laying on your shoulder. She can’t yet say the words “I love you” but this action is worth 1,000,000 words.
• She growls at you both just for fun but also when she is starting to get mad It’s almost a warning before the shrieking starts.
• Prayse is starting to wink! The wink is quickly followed by the most beautiful grin you’ve ever seen.
• She got her first shiner as she bonked herself in the eye with a toy.
• She is learning how to whisper, “talking” w/ much more vocal inclination and different tones. She even pulled me to her and whispered in my ear, whatever it was she was saying was VERY important!
• When she is tired she rubs her eyes and plays with her left ear.
• Eating is going so good! Lately her newest sign of independence is to try and feed herself. She will grab the spoon for me, chew on it and eat everything and then hand it back. It is way messier this way but so fun to see hear learning and figuring it out.

These are the things that we learn as parents the more we get to know our babes. I can’t wait to see how her personality continues to develop and the beautiful young lady she will develop into. For example, I wonder what her love language will be? If I had to take a guess I would say that it will be “touch.” She is such a little cuddle bug that I hope it continues. I remember praying for a cuddler over and over when I was pregnant. I got more than I could ever dream for with this blessing.

Nothing is better than a Mama cuddle.
