Not Exactly What I Had Expected
There was no peppermint white mocha to start my day, no birthday lunch. There will be no romantic dinner/movie date with my sexy husband tonight, heck there hasn’t even been a shower today. So no, my birthday is not exactly what I had expected, but you know what? I have been enveloped in one never-ending hug from my beautiful almost six-month old today. I am her whole world. Even when she is feeling down and has a fever, it is Mama that she feels can make it better and so that is what I try to do.
I have an amazing husband who called to say that he is going to make dinner tonight and I have family and friends who have sent me many Birthday Wishes. I am loved. These are the things that make a Birthday special and in that sense, it has been a perfect day.
Happy birthday, T! I’m glad you got to spend it with your little girl – but I hope she is better very soon.
