OK, Last Story I Promise!

Okay, I have to share this one last story since the last post I was sitting in the Chicago airport. I was laughing as it happened. We’ll just skip by the whole saga of trying to find an outlet to pump in Charlotte. Including me climbing under a stall because the only plug in in the bathroom was by the sink so I somehow maneuvered the pump across the sink and underneath the stall only to find out the plug in didn’t work Or the fact that there was not a single bathroom in the Holiday Inn that had a plug in. The lady at the front desk of this hotel where I did NOT have a reservation felt so bad she finally gave me a key to get to the roof where there was a plug in. Forget all of that.

Here’s the scene, I’m in Chicago having just pumped and feeling not so Porn Starish but my ice pack in the cooler wasn’t cold any longer. No problem, I’m in the Red Carpet Club so I’ll just put some ice in it and we’ll be good. Fast forward to the plane. I put the pump in the overhead bin as usual and we’re off. All of the sudden I see something dripping from the overhead bin and I keep thinking, “What IS that?”

Oh. My. Gosh. How do I tell West Coast Chopper dude, buff with 5 earrings in the one ear I can see that my breast pump is leaking on his bald head????  Answer: You don’t! He kept looking up so I told him I had a cooler with some ice that must be leaking. Thank goodness he was so nice, he just got it from me and I was able to keep it hidden by my feet so the attendant didn’t come take it from me.

Ha ha! I’m still laughing over it! Guess what though? I was able to get all of that milk back home with the exception of one bag that came open. SUCCESS!
