Clear Epic

Mommy can’t believe it! I have grown and changed so much in four months, life is so very interesting. I’m learning new things all of the time! Mama and Daddy took me to see Dr. Dews again (twice because I also got my first ear infection) and I had to get more shots. Boy was I mad! I can’t believe they’d do that do me AGAIN! But Mama and I soon made up when I got hungry

No wonder those 3-6 month pants looked like capris from day one! Mama keeps talking to me about this sport called track and how I can use those long legs for high jumping and hurdling one day, but only if I want to she said. We’ll see, who knows what I’ll want to do when I grow up? Daddy plays Jazz music for me and we dance and dance and dance. That is kind of fun too!

It’s been a very busy month for me, I am learning how to stand with Mama’s help. I’d rather stand than sit and would rather sit than lay down. Every time they try to lay me down I just try sitting right back up. It’s a rather fun game! I play hard in my exersaucer and jumperoo. I am starting to enjoy looking at bright colored books too. And if you are REALLY funny you might get treated to my laugh! Mama loves it the best, this goes beyond my baby giggle and is my new belly laugh. It is apparently pretty funny to most people

I’ve been a party animal. I went to my Grandad-Great’s 75th Birthday Party and I surprised my Aunt Chelsea at her surprise birthday party. We had to much fun! I partied until 11:30 at night, Mama couldn’t believe it! I outlasted many of the guests, they just couldn’t hang.

I am really starting to reach for things and have a lot more control. I also am getting very good at conversations. I let Mama and Daddy know exactly when I am happy, annoyed, bored, sad, hungry, tired, or MAD. I threw my first mini-temper tantrum. Mama said we needed to go home and tried to put me in my car seat. Boy did I surprise her when I showed her that if I made my body as stiff as a board and screamed (no tears mind you) that she had to work harder to get me into the car seat. Mama won that battle, but I’ll prolly try again here soon!

The biggest thing this month? I had to spend the night without my Mama!! She went on a business trip to Charlotte, NC. I missed her, but Daddy and I had lots of fun! I also got to hang out with Aunt Chelsea and Uncle Matt, and even Miss Meghan spent some time with me! I love them all so, but I must say, I love Mama the most (I have to say that because this is her blog, but it really is true!).
