Home Sweet Home
We’re home! The trip to Texarkana was great and we had a lot of fun! There are so many pictures and even more stories, once we’re settled in I’ll be able to share. It was so neat to see Raymonn in his element among his friends and family. He attained a certain comfort level, I haven’t seen him this relaxed and happy in a very long time. I was content just to sit back and watch the smile on his face as he hugged his Big Mama, played dominoes with his Mama, Uncle Ray, Turk, and Aunt Lois, and caught up with old friends. It was a beautiful site.
Prayse was a big hit (of course!), everyone just loved on her and she did awesome staying with her Aunt Pam and Nana while Raymonn and I did some things for his class reunion. Just this week she has started to become more and more interactive. Twice this week while we were getting ready in the hotel she just hung out on the bed cooing and chatting the whole time (we’re talking a whole HOUR) it was precious. Our theory is that she has been around Raymonn’s family all weekend and they’re so loud that she had to start being louder just to be heard above everyone else and get a little attention
Right now she’s hanging out in her bouncy seat watching Baby Einstein. She has never before been able to pay attention to something for this long, it’s amazing the changes that we see that happen literally over night! I’m so in love, I’m digging this Mom thing.
