Clear Epic

We went for her one month wellness checkup yesterday and here are the stats:

Height: 23.5″ (97th percentile)

Weight: 10 lbs, 10 oz (90th percentile)

Head: 37 cm (50th percentile)

I can’t believe it! She’s really one month old already? Where did the time go?? We have been having so much fun together, she has been more awake and alert lately and also very responsive. And what a talker!! Awake or asleep, it doesn’t matter, she’s cooing and jabbering about something… much like her Daddy. There has been so much development in just a month: She is moving around more and more, I have a little Wiggle Worm on my hands. She’s also smiling more and more with her cute little grins and giggles. She is following not only sounds but movements much better. I can tell she is able to focus on things that are farther away (she has noticed ceiling fans and thinks they are super interesting) AND today she noticed the little toys on her mobile for the first time!

It has been a crazy, hectic, whirlwind of a month. I’m learning about being a Mom and what it means and I’m learning that there is a whole other level of love that I didn’t even know existed. With all of the soreness, fatigue, doubts, mistakes, and sleepless nights I am so happy we’ve been blessed with this baby girl. I love being a Mom, it’s awesome and really is the best thing in the world. I had no idea it would be this great, she’s the best surprise ever.
