Clear Epic

I can’t help myself, I have to take a minute and brag. It’s been on my mind for days Prayse is such a rock star. She is semi-sleeping through the night most of the time (except to eat which is totally understandable as I also still wake up in the middle of the night to eat), she got her poor heel poked 4 times in the hospital to check her blood sugar and once to do the blood tests, although that was more of a cut… evil lab lady had mama in tears too! She also got her heel poked AGAIN (her poor heels) to check her billirubin levels last week at the Dr.

At her first Dr. appointment everything was perfect, she showed her lungs when we had to undress her (she’s modest ) and of course Dr. Dews fell in love with her right away, who wouldn’t?? Everyone there commented on how pretty she is, and of course she’s the most gorgeous girl in the place.

We also went to visit the lactation consultant and ever since then Prayse has been a champ in this area too. Did you know the girl was getting 2 oz of milk in about 5 minutes?? Now tell me that isn’t awesome? I’m also a little proud of myself for that one. Who would have thought that my small chest could do that? It’s about time these girls paid their dues!

She is one of the most laid-back, easy going babes I’ve ever seen. She will go to anyone and everyone and it does not matter that she’s unconscious… it still counts in my book. I can’t stop kissing her and staring… Thanks for listening to the rambling thoughts of a very tired but blissfully happy mama!
